hey I am really enjoying the sport and I compete in techno293 u15 boys but in my free time I ride my clubs 149l board (only in small wind) and on a 113l board (sometimes when there is wind) and I want a small board my self. is a starboard 121 curve 253 x 66cm rasmussen design good? its old but also only 250$ or should I buy a more expensive patrik slalom 125l 2302 x 772 mm for 680$. (both boards are used and are basically the only option on the market in my country. (where i live the wind is 0-8knots/s so I ride a tahe 7.8 or in 12-20k/s tahe 6.8) also I only ride fin because I don't have the money for a foil.

I tried windsurfing again after 5 or maybe 10 years and 10 lbs heavier, and older I was having lots of problems rounding up. At 64 my athletic ability was not enough to overcome my bad technique. Great tips here. Lift sail from the leech above the boom. Push down with the mast to keep the nose downwind. Pull rear leg in and under as you lift and keep downward pressure on the mast. Can't wait to try it again! But I DO need to loose that 10 or 15 lbs too.

no matter what can people think, old school windsurf will forever be cool...no foil, no kite just good old planning in the straps, the acceleration that seems like it's never stopping when you catch that gust of wind and start planning and the sound of the chop hitting the board at high speed like a machine gun. learning curve is tough though..

Nico, please make wind foil jibe video on how to do the flip sail first then switch stance to change feet, “strap to strap foil jibe”!Not with big race sails & boards but small free ride/wave sails & foil boards especially for windfoiling in ocean swells & waves. Thanks!

Great video, but I raly want to know what is the other material in mast, you have 70% carbon and what is other 30% becouse it cant be fiber glass becouse their properities don't work together. Also thing to consider is how difrend sails work with difrend masts, I'm not talking about hard/flex tops, I have Severne Reflex 7 9.2 and it work beter with 70%C mast than 100%C mast, maybe it is the age difrence betwen mast and sali techlology but it's somehow beter.
