Nico, please make wind foil jibe video on how to do the flip sail first then switch stance to change feet, “strap to strap foil jibe”!Not with big race sails & boards but small free ride/wave sails & foil boards especially for windfoiling in ocean swells & waves. Thanks!

Great video, but I raly want to know what is the other material in mast, you have 70% carbon and what is other 30% becouse it cant be fiber glass becouse their properities don't work together. Also thing to consider is how difrend sails work with difrend masts, I'm not talking about hard/flex tops, I have Severne Reflex 7 9.2 and it work beter with 70%C mast than 100%C mast, maybe it is the age difrence betwen mast and sali techlology but it's somehow beter.

Nico, just discovered your channel and I'm loving it! Sailed dinghy boats my whole life since I was 7, (I'm 37 now), but new to windsurfing this past year. Do you have any advice for older new to windsurfing sailors? I am loving it, but I'm not 20 anymore and don't want to get hurt. Maybe a video about preventing injuries? My Tiga HyperX 115 is probably most like the Futura 120 in riding. I typically use a race sail if the wind is gusty and a free ride sail if the wind is steady.

Of course, since I got my wind foil setup, I hardly ever do anything else!

I use free race in medium winds and wave in high winds.

I have some FPV foiling footage on my channel if you want to check it out. Props to your pilot! Flying over water is nerve-wracking!

@nico_prien what is the minimum mast lenght you recommend for shallow water foiling?

I like your videos but your duck gybe needs a lot of work. You look like you are crawling around the edge of a building. With practice and attacking it more instead of hand over handing down and up the boom you can release your front hand mid turn and kind of throw with the back to bring the end of the boom to where the front hand can catch it and yank the lot around. When you get this right you lose almost no power.

hi, i wanted to ask you as a person if a 121 starboard curve board (wood tehnoligy) is a good board for 250? i started with techno 293 but i tried a 148l board and liked the small ones.

You have just experienced the Black Sabbath experience.

I almost always get the spins putting a too big of a sail on a smaller board. The result is the draft of the sail going right over my rear foot and overloading the fin. In the 80's....they used to put mile long mast tracks that allowed you to run bigger sails on small boards. Nowadays, mast tracks have gotten shorter limiting your range of usable sails. When the manufacturer states the sail range on the board.....use it!

You didn't get to race but the shots in the middle of the video were amazing anyway, thanks for sharing!
